Somebody approached and asked me about my insights of a good leader for the country…below was my answer. I decided to publish this in our site as my initial article for my long overdue column as per invitation by Mng. Vic, whom I look up to as good leader in his own right.
The Leader I Dream to Lead
“ For any one who wants to lead must first be a good follower”
This quotation is inspired by the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ sets the example of the true measure of what it is to be a leader. Leadership by example was the type of leadership Christ had taught us. While many people would argue that Christ was able to do that kind of leadership because He was God and that man by his very nature can not imitate, I find this more of an excuse rather than a reason for people who really do not recognize the godliness that he received from God himself through the gifts of knowledge and freedom. Leadership by example has the values of humility, transparency (honesty), commitment ,and most the sense of shepherding or leading with a vision or sense of direction.

The virtual plaza is gaining flesh and spirit. Its a reality- the plaza is still the place to be where we meet and say hi, hello but without noticing it-conversations have become deeper and hot.
I believe no one wanted to be poor because I believe every individual has a dream...while we can't choose our kind of life at birth, we can change it as we grow up- making use of our sorry-state as an inspiration for us to move up and improve our life. It takes one to dream, hardwork, determination, and a lot of prayers. I am talking from experience, because I came from a poor family. However,I am thankful, that while I was not born with a silver spoon I had good parents who really gave me the opportunity to dream and realize the importance of industry and prayer. It is of my humble opinion that God gave us the two most powerful weapon of survival-intelligence and freedom.
