Vgent Group Inc. has secured an invitation from its Slovak connections to participate in the inaugural World Youth Cup to be held in Slovakia from 3rd to 7th July 2010. This prestigious tournament will cater to football players age 12 years old and below.

Consequently, a staged try-out of prospective players to compose the team, which will later on be officially named as Vgent Football Team, is scheduled on the 3rd week of April 2010.  With this, no less than two coaches from Slovakia will be flying here to oversee the try-out as well as to conduct football clinics for the players and seminars for the Philippine trainers.  At the end of these activities, 17 players and 1 trainer will make it to the Vgent Football Team.

Vgent Group, through the Protrade Consultancy Services Inc., has recently made the rounds all over the country to scout for football teams to take part in the scheduled try-outs.   Some of the early registrants to this week-long try-outs are the football youth teams of the Don Bosco schools in Metro Manila.

The first-ever Medical Mission organized by the Vgent Group of Companies is scheduled on October 17, 2009 to be held at barangay plaza of Miramar, in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur. This project with a heart is in cooperation with the United Methodist Church, Mary Johnston Hospital, Department of Health, and the Rotary Club of Makati Essensa.

By far, the officers and staff are working closely together to make this Medical Mission a big success. Plans and details are being laid out so that no stones are left unturned in assuring the smooth staging of this project. A daunting task but still very much doable.
